The acquisition of Tirana Bank, NewCo Ferronikeli in Kosovo, expansion of projects such as Skopje East Gate in North Macedonia, Green Coast in Albania, real estate projects in Austria or the acquisition of Carrefour which later turned into the well-known SPAR supermarkets chain have further enriched the group portfolio. She has also taken care for that the Group apart from its economic growth could build a profile of its own based on four fundamental values: “partnership”, “development”, “care” and “responsibility”. During this period, Edlira has followed with care the social investment in the community and the professional development programs of the employees of the Group companies. Steven GRUNERUD

Steven Grunerud is a Vice President for the Balfin Group from 2009, focusing on acquisitions and investments on the international scale. Previously, as CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Albania, he led the acquisition and successful conversion from a state bank to the largest commercial bank in the country. Read More...With 20 years of experience in the Balkans, in Romania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Bulgaria, Steven is an experienced manager in the emerging markets of the region. Initially beginning in the financial services industry, working for ABN Amro, Citibank and Raiffeisen Bank, he has successfully acquired and turned around banks in region, lastly in Kosovo and Albania. Within Balfin he has lead the acquisition of the largest diversified chrome mine and smelter in the region, and acts as the Chairman of the Board of the company. He has successfully financed two of the largest shopping centers in the region, in Tirana and Skopje, and sold the Skopje Mall in 2016. Currently his focus is expanding the footprint of the Balfin Group outside the country. Steven has an MBA from Queen’s University in Ontario, and a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia.

Julian Mane is one of the Vice Presidents of Balfin Group. He leads the companies of Balfin Group that are focused in Retail and Real Estate Management. Read More...He is part of Balfin Group since 2000 and over the years Juljan has held several key positions in companies of the Group. Before being named as Vice President of Balfin, Juljan has started his career as Project Manager in Mane TCI and after that, as Administrator of the company. With the opening of Neptun, the largest company in Albania for electronics, he is appointed as COO of company and later as CEO of Neptun. After that on 2013 he was appointed as Vice President of Balfin Group.
As Vice President of Balfin he serves on the company’s executive team and oversees retail strategy and the continued expansion of some of the retail stores in Albania and around the Balkan. He is responsible for the companies to meet and exceed national sales plans, implementing sales strategies, ensuring consistency throughout retail partner chains. Develop strategic relationships with retail partners at the corporate and regional level. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law, from Faculty of Law, University of Tirana and has received the title of lawyer in 2002.
